Frequently Asked Questions
Does the K33 work with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta and Google?
Yes. Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, Google Workspace and Duo all support FIDO2 security keys, and the K33 interoperates out-of-the-box with all services that support the FIDO2 protocol. Some tenants allow only approved key models, so register the K33 with your administrator before rollout.
Does the K33 work with Android phones and other mobile devices?
Yes. Android is one of the K33's supported operating systems, and its Bluetooth module is designed to communicate with most mainstream mobile devices and PCs. You can also tap it on an NFC-enabled phone or plug it into a USB-C port.
How many fingerprints and passkeys does the K33 store?
The K33 stores up to 16 fingerprint templates and 128 resident credentials (passkeys kept on the key). Fingerprint information is processed only inside the key and protected by its CC EAL 6+ secure element.
Do I need two K33 keys?
Yes. Register at least two keys per person from day one: one for daily use and one stored safely as a backup. If a key is lost, you sign in with the backup key and remove the lost key from your account, so you never need a weaker fallback method.
What is the difference between the K33 and the K26?
Both are FIDO2 fingerprint keys that store 128 resident credentials. The K26 connects over USB-C only and stores up to 50 fingerprint templates, while the K33 adds NFC and Bluetooth and stores up to 16. Choose the K33 for mobile use and the K26 for desktop sign-in.
